Dr. Jonathan Kanevsky is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a pioneer in minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Kanevsky completed his medical studies at McGill University, graduating at the top of his class and was then accepted into the competitive integrated plastic surgery residency program at McGill University. He was certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
During his time as a resident, he received the Plastic Surgery Foundation Innovation award for a device he developed to minimize scar formation. He has published over 30 academic research papers and presents regularly at international conferences.
Dr. Kanevsky is considered a leader in the field of minimally invasive body contouring and fat transfer, and he is bringing the latest, cutting edge technology to plastic surgery. After residency, Dr. Kanevsky completed a fellowship in advanced aesthetic surgery at The University of Southern California, learning from top world-renowned plastic surgeons, in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach.
SIGNATURE TECHNIQUE FOR BREAST PROCEDURES
Inspired by the safety and health of his patients, Dr. Kanevsky does not use breast implants. He stopped using them over five years ago because he learned about breast implant illness and the dangers of implants. Instead, he has developed a new technique for natural, scarless breast augmentation and lift.

Dr. Kanevsky's expertise spans facial plastic surgery, breast surgery, minimally invasive body contouring, laser procedures, and injectables such as neuromodulators and fillers. With his use of minimally invasive and scarless techniques, he puts the needs of his patients first to deliver natural-looking results. He has completed over 5,000 awake liposuction and body contouring procedures and developed his own personalized technique for consistent, excellent results.

As a surgeon-scientist, Dr. Kanevsky has authored over 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, US patents and presentations at international academic conferences on topics related to artificial intelligence in healthcare, technology, regenerative medicine, and other topics in plastic surgery. He is fluent in English, Russian, French, and Spanish.
Outside of the operating room Dr. Kanevsky has been active in humanitarian work, volunteering on medical missions in Guatemala and raising awareness for animal and wildlife conservation and fundraising for the Montreal Children's Hospital Division of Craniofacial Surgery. Dr. Kanevsky is inspired by the vegan movement and has adapted his practice of medicine and surgery to help patients worldwide transform into the best versions of themselves with the help of a plant-based diet.
