Dr. Nick Bruss Psychotherapist
Dr. Nick Brüss is a paradigm-shifting psychedelic psychotherapist, researcher and trainer who is whole-heartedly invested in helping people heal, grow and live free in their lives.
He is passionate about teaching people how to free themselves from suffering, to live in their body, and to engage in a creative and meaningful life. He does this by supporting and challenging clients to re-experience themselves as whole, by building life-changing programs, training the next generation of clinicians and educating the public about the vast benefits of psychedelic-assisted therapies.
Nick was a therapist and clinical supervisor on the ground breaking FDA Phase III clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD sponsored by Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). He is a leader in providing psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy providing transformative concierge ketamine-assisted programs in private practice in California, New York and Texas.
He is a co-founder and lead clinical trainer at the Psychedelic Coalition for Health, a psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy trainer at TheraPsil, and a volunteer with MAPS’s Harm Reduction Zendo Project. Having seen the power of psychedelic-assisted therapy, Nick advocates and educates for science over stigma and is inspired to provide reliable information and integrated training to work and explore with psychedelic medicines.
He is also a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator through UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, and a certified teacher of both Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and the Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) through the Center for Compassion, Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University School of Medicine.
